Psalm 4:8: - Peaceful Sleep

In peace, I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Dear Lord Jesus, As I lay down to rest my weary body and mind, I come before You with a humble heart. I thank You for the gift of this day and for the blessings You have bestowed upon me.

Now, I ask for Your guidance and protection as I enter the realm of sleep. Lord, grant me peaceful and undisturbed rest tonight.

Calm the worries and anxieties that may be lingering in my heart, replacing them with a deep sense of tranquility. Watch over me, my loved ones, and all those who may need Your comfort tonight.

I surrender myself to Your loving care. I trust in Your wisdom and strength to guard my dreams and shield me from any unsettling thoughts or nightmares.

We come in the Spirit of the Lord to ask for help from evil dreams. These dreams have caused me much harm. I do not get enough sleep because of these scary dreams.

And now I am struggling with pain, and need your healing. These awful dreams have caused me so much trouble.

I ask you to take away the horrible dream and send God-given dreams that will allow me to sleep in peace. I ask this in the name of the Lord. Amen.

 

Isaiah 41:10 - God is with us

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand.

God, I am asking for peaceful dreams tonight.  There are evil movements of wicked spirits in the night. I have had horrible nightmares.

I know that these dreams are part of spiritual warfare.  I know that through the power of the Holy Spirit, I can sleep in perfect peace.

I am asking you, the prince of peace, to give me sweet dreams.  I pray that you will be with the children of God. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.  

 

 

Proverbs 3:24 - Lie down in sweet sleep.

If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

Dear Jesus, I am coming to you asking for sweet sleep and good dreams. I know I don't need to fear the power of the enemy as long as I am covered by the blood of the lamb.

I can sleep knowing you have good things planned for my life. Christ hath promised to be with me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

I know that means I can trust in the spirit of truth to protect me.

I have said these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

Heavenly Father, I bow before You in humble gratitude for the profound truth that You have overcome the world. In a world often filled with trials, tribulations, and uncertainties, I find peace knowing you are going to win in the end.

Lord, Your Word reminds us that in this world we will face troubles, but You have triumphed over them all. You are the source of our hope and the wellspring of our strength.
